PRP Regeneration Therapy is a 100% natural, low risk procedure for soft tissue regeneration using components of the patients own blood. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a concentration of platelet cells taken from your blood. Platelets have growth factors that help in the wound healing and skin regenerative process.
Growth Factors in PRP
Millions of Growth Factors in PRP activate the skin regeneration and help destroyed and aging cells be restored or newly created, stimulating collagen and elastin under your skin. As a result, it will naturally Rejuvenate your skin and subcutaneous tissues.
PRP is the most fundamental therapy based on the natural healing process of the human body. PRP promotes the production of growth factors inside the platelet and cuts healing time in half.
PRP makes you look more youthful and beautiful by improving skin tone, texture, and elasticity as well as restoring lost volume via the production of collagen and elastin.
Short Therapy Time & Short Down Time
Therapy takes about 10-20 minutes allowing patients to return back to daily life right after receiving PRP injection.
PRP is harvested from your own blood and its facial injections are minimally invasive. There is no chance of causing any side effect or allergic reaction.
Q: How is it done?
A: 13.5 cc of the patient's own blood is drawn into a syringe with anticoagulant and transferred to a special platelet concentration kit which is spun in a centrifuge to separate the blood components. During centrifugation the platelets are concentrated into a visible layer to be extracted with a small amount of plasma to for PRP which my be injected for therapeutic use.
Q: How quickly does the result show?
A: To those people aware of their skin texture and structure they may be aware within a week of some early changes, however, tissue regeneration is a gradual process with changes continuing to show for 3 to 6 months after therapy.
Q: How long does it last?
A: Results tend to last about a year to two years, depending on the patient's anatomy and individual circumstances.
Q: Who is an ideal candidate for PRP?
A: Because PRP facial rejuvenation is a minimally invasive procedure, most adults with signs of aging are good candidates. Patients who are heavy smokers, diabetic, or have circulation problems may not see best results since the patients blood is compromised and therefore does not make high quality PRP. Amniotic fluid allograft injections may be best suited for these patients.
Q: How long is recovery?
A: Most patients look presentable and return to work in 2 to 3 days. Minor bruising or swelling will last about a week if the procedure is performed alone.
